TEKSTAS:
Mary had a little lamb,
Little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow
Everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
Everywhere that Mary went
The lamb was sure to go
It followed her to school one day
School one day, school one day
It followed her to school one day
Which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play,
Laugh and play, laugh and play,
It made the children laugh and play
To see a lamb at school
And so the teacher turned it out,
Turned it out, turned it out,
And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near
And waited patiently about,
Patiently about, patiently about,
And waited patiently about
Till Mary did appear
"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
Love Mary so? Love Mary so?
"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
The eager children cry
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know."
Loves the lamb, you know, loves the lamb, you know
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know."
The teacher did reply.
INTERPRETACIJA:
Mary’s lamb is obviously COCAINE. White as snow=blow=Tony Montana’s bleeding nostrils. Mary is the pusher who starts snorting coke recreationally before deciding to cash in by selling to her schoolmates. Even though it’s illegal to sell drugs at school, Mary did it anyway 1. because she’s addicted–everywhere she goes, cocaine is not far behind and 2. it makes the other children laugh and play, which only helps her gain ground socially and financially. The righteous teacher tries to intervene by enforcing stricter discipline on the druggies, but after a while, Mr. Narc realizes that he is powerless to curb Mary’s habit and business. When it comes down to it, Mary is too physically dependent. She’s reached the point of no return. The repetitious use of the phrase ‘Mary had a little lamb’ is meant to parallel the vicious repetition of addiction. The message is to remind us of the dangers of getting high on your own supply.

Bet, gerai pagalvojus, "Du gaidelius" su "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" susieti neturėtų būti itin sudėtinga.
